about
I play this "three finger" style. Up-picking the melody with my index finger and plucking (snapping) the fifth string and first and sometimes second string with my second finger. I figured this out after hearing an old gal from Scotsboro, Alabama play in a similar fashion during a banjo/fiddle contest in Athens, Alabama back in 1970. She won the contest hands down. She was 84 at the time. GB/RT needs a hard driving backdrop. Some of the words come from Peter Stampfel but I forgot the verse about cocaine.
